It was a nice service. I cried a lot. On a happier note, I can't believe that my baby is 16 months old today! She makes me smile every day!

Memorial for my neighbor/cat sitter tomorrow. Plan to take some reflection time to tell the universe what I am thankful for-feeling funky :(

Hump day is here!

Hazel has her 15 month check-up this morning. Hope she doesn't get as many shots as last time. Looking forward to seeing her 3 mo. progress.

Doing some work Twitter maintenance-cutting the dead weight. Got a busy day ahead with Sarah's baby shower in Alameda & a night out in SF!

I see a walk and park visit in our future today-perhaps even a walk in the park. Daddy is off doing his own thing today instead of tomorrow.

Oh coffee, how I love you so. Breakfast & lunch items come & go but you are always there for me & remain my go-to-beverage, aside from H2O!

Hubby fell asleep on the couch-came to bed at 4AM, baby cried at 4:45, garbage trucks at 5AM, bottle for baby at 5:30 with some sleep after.

Monday Monday, can't trust that day. Every other day, every other day, Every other day of the week is fine, yeah. Oh Monday morning... :(

First baby wake up call at 6:30AM and then she went back to bed until almost 7:30AM. LOVE these overcast mornings. Gonna be a GREAT day! :)

OK, eye all checked out & no scratches on the cornea :) she put dye in & washed it out for me, then gave me eye drops to do every hour or so

I was walking around downtown/uptown Oakland yesterday & I think I got a shard of glass in my eye on 17th st. when glass was being replaced.

Sad for my city this morning :(

Closing the office by 4PM to brace for the Mehserle verdict. Glad I will be safe up in our 4th floor Oakland penthouse. I remember OJ... :(

Our 1st HOA board meeting without our trusted treasurer Fred is tonight. There is a moment of silence on the agenda = I'm gonna cry :(

Back to the office today after almost 2 weeks: Chicago and then the cabin. It will be good to get back into our routine again...

So nice to see the connection that Hazel made with her daddy while I was gone. She was excited to see me but there was a warming up period.

I am going home today! I can't wait to see my baby (and my man of course)! California - I am coming home. :)
