A rare day that I have my car all to myself with no work, Hazel in preschool, and Lawrence working at someone's house on a side project.

I have to say that riding the bus feels like a luxury to me but I could do without the funky smell of fellow riders - LOVE being a passenger

I hate waking up feeling upset. At least it is Saturday & there is good weather on the horizon. A day with hubby & baby will make it better!

I got my new shoes and a free shuffle today. I ran the lake when I got home! I knew when I got half-way that I could make it all the way. :)

Had a wonderful weekend at my mom's with Bob & Claire, Marisa, Lawrence, and Hazel. I especially enjoyed the full moon action on the deck!

Hazel was up starting at 3:45 every 15 min. or so until I gave up & got her up at 6AM. Mommy needs a nap! Good thing were going to Grandmas.

Hazel's check-up was all good and she didn't shed a tear when it came to the one shot she got. What a tough little girl! Mommy cried for her

Today is H's 2 yr check-up. Seems like forever since we took her: 4+ months. She is seeing my doctor now, not a pediatrician, a GP/Family Dr

PDO day today but I am feeling mildly poopy :( Maybe I'll just have a Netflix streaming day on the Roku.

I'm exhausted! Just put Hazel to bed early because she was melting down before my very eyes. Maybe I should follow her n just tuck myself in

H is having a word explosion! As of last night she just couldn't stop spitting out words. We are going to have a serious talker on our hands

FINALLY had a refreshing night of sleep! I am not used to going to bed on time & waking up exhausted. It felt like a 3 day hangover = yucky!

Poor little Hazel was very clingy today before preschool. Hope she is doing OK there today. She has been sleeping and eating well there! :)

Sunday movie and late lunch/early dinner with good friends today. A rare treat indeed! :)

Hazel is home from her 1st day of preschool. She didn't sleep but she did eat well. She was in great spirits when Lawrence & I picked her up

2 years ago today my life was super enhanced with the birth of my baby girl Hazel Mae! Happy Birthday my little miracle child. I love you!!!

Hazel had a great time at her birthday party yesterday! Now to get my head around a thank you gift for her daycare-her last day is Thursday.

Having a small family celebration for Hazel's 2nd birthday today at Cassie's. Good thing cuz with this weather, it might be our only outing!

Clark Pest Control is here. They are squirting foam into my base boards to deter those pesky termites! I sure hope it works to keep them out

Dropped Hazel off for her last month of daycare and totally cried in the car! Soft opening of Target Emeryville today will make it better.

Had such a relaxing weekend with my little family-playing at the park, farmer's market, laundry, checking out the new Cuban cafe in the hood

I accidentally put Hazel to bed at 5PM. She hadn't had a substantial nap & we thought she would sleep an hour or so. She just work up at 7AM

So stuffy! Hazel is too. I took a Musinex but it is not keeping me clear. Nasal irrigation helps. I am still debating: cold or allergies?

Saturday=family day. Spot Botting, setting up the DVR with kids programming, a trip to Target and the Gap for baby socks plus a sweatshirt.

My first 90% Friday. Ahhhh, a few hours of dedicated mommy time with Hazel in daycare, daddy at work & nothing I HAVE to do. Recharge time!
