Had such a relaxing weekend with my little family-playing at the park, farmer's market, laundry, checking out the new Cuban cafe in the hood

Happiness is a warm cafe with ample seating, free & reliable wifi, good coffee that transitions to local microbrews as the mood dictates. :)

Woke up at 7:40AM to H calling mommy, mommy-thanks storm! When I came out of the room, the spare bathroom door was closed with Cricket in it

Woke up feeling much better. Back to work I go! Hope I make it to dinner with Shannon tonight at Juan's but I may poop out before that :(

Another bad cold for me. #5 I think? 2011 = the year of the constant cold. When I wasn't sniffling & coughing, I was fighting a stomach bug.

Hazel had fun watching the hail bounce on our deck this morning. Driving to grandma's soon, past Sacramento we go, will it be a rainy drive?

Date day with hubby = Yeah! Girls weekend with sis & little girls at Mom's house. Hazel will have a blast with her cousins! Bring on the fun

Bugs in my rice cooker. Gross! Damn weevils - get out of my rice. My picky hubby ate around them. Not me. Into the trash black pepper rice!

Happy Valentines day! I am celebrating with a half day off and a 90 min. massage with birthday money from mom and dad! Rain is no damper! :)

I accidentally put Hazel to bed at 5PM. She hadn't had a substantial nap & we thought she would sleep an hour or so. She just work up at 7AM

So stuffy! Hazel is too. I took a Musinex but it is not keeping me clear. Nasal irrigation helps. I am still debating: cold or allergies?

The bug guy cometh. The plan is to squirt foam into the cracks where I have seen them emerging from. Subterranean to 4th floor = mystery ???

Kid bday party done, baby clad in diaper only, vacuum battle w/ termites, Zachary's deep dish, Black Toad Dark Ale & Superbowl-Ahhh Sunday!

Ugg! Up 3 times last night changing baby sheets and outfits. I hope this stomach bug doesn't jump to mom and dad! :(
