Home sick :( Now I know what baby was feeling a few days ago. Got a craving for V8 - lots of vitamin C. Gonna spice it up with hot sauce! :)

Scratchy throat - check, occasional cough - check = looks like whatever Hazel had over the weekend with her runny nose has infected Mommy :(

My sister is brilliant, if you didn't already know. Hazel hasn't liked her teeth brushed until I got a cheap electric princess toothbrush!

So sad that the Boice's & Harris' will not be joining us at the cabin for Labor Day weekend but thrilled that Marisa & her Dad's Jeep will!

Why is it that while on vacation I couldn't nap/sleep in but now that I am home, that is all I want to do? One more day to recover then work

Going home today. Late check-out at 1pm. Flight at 4pm. Land in Oakland at 10pm. Can't wait to see my man tonight & baby tomorrow morning!

Taxi ride that almost made me cry & a hotel welcoming that also brought tears to my eyes in the opposite way-I am so happy to be at La Amada

Woke up at 2am to rain & sand pelting us through our windows. We are tired & ready to move on to our next location! To Isla Mujeres we go!

Watching a parasailer play in the surf after the storm. Man he gets some great air! Windy but it keeps those biting bugs away! No buggy bugs

Sam is getting a massage in the room and I am exploring. Walked 2,500 meters & had to duck into a hotel to cool off with the ocean breeze!

Almost went to a discoteque (sp?) with the staff but wasn't sure how I would get home. Instead walked to the next door hotel via the beach.

Internet service is spotty here but our room is steps from the beach so it is all worth it! :)

We met some really nice locals last night: Roberto and Tabatha! They spoke enough English to have a nice conversation. Good cigars too - Cuban!

Beautiful breakfast this morning in the open air cafe. Finally some good coffee. Crepes with ham and cheese - yum! Today we travel to Tulum.

Sam and I arrived safely only 30 minutes after our scheduled arrival time. We are now sitting by the pool waiting for our drinks.

His companion refuses to get off the plane with him so here we sit over a half hour after our departure time. Not a good start to vacation!

A crazy man in first class started yelling and right before we took off demanded to get off of the plane. We are now back at the gate. :(

Ahhhh vacation time! Sleep, sun, eats, drinks, fun here we come!

Had another anxiety filled sleepless night in anticipation of leaving my baby for 5 days-just like before I left for Chicago. Tonight=Sleep!

Sales meeting complete. Time for some family time today and tomorrow. Then Sam and I leave early on Tuesday for Playa del Carmen, Mexico! ;)

My thoughts are with the Harris family today during this sad time.

I just don't know what to say...

I hate to say this but I feel like I am coming down with a cold. I guess I am due. :(

Looking forward to a day with my sis & a visit with Grandpa Bob, Grandma Kathie, cousin Zoe, cousin Maia, and auntie Cassie for Hazel today.

Shorter weekend than usual. All day meeting on Monday but at least I have Wednesday off. Then annual sales meeting through end of day Sat.

This is the last of the "normal" work week. Next week is our annual sales meeting in Redwood City and then Sam and I are off to Mexico! :)

2 of my iGoogle Gadgets are not loading properly. It used to be 3 so I deleted them and reinstalled but it only helped one of them. Annoying

2 observations watching Hazel at Gymboree: among the 16-22 month old set she is an Amazon=the tallest one & she is independent in comparison

I am thinking about taking Hazel to her 1st Gymboree Play & Learn class today at 4PM after her nap. They are so close & I have a free pass!

I didn't really have a concept of 95th% in height until H was standing next to a 19 month old at the park yesterday and towering over her.

I really wish Studio Grow was open on Sundays. I want to take Hazel for her first time. I think she is ready. It will have to be a Saturday.

Looking forward to a Sunday hanging out with miss Hazel while daddy does his thing in San Francisco.
